Demolition labourer — DeSoto County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a demolition labourer in DeSoto County, Florida. You will work on a road and bridge project. Requirements: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio Day-to-day duties: • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
