Bread baker — Stoke-on-Trent

Join our team: we are hiring a bread baker in Stoke-on-Trent, England. You will be based at a busy bakery. Day to day you will pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight. Requirements: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Food handler / hygiene certificate 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
