Sewing machine operator wanted in El Paso County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in El Paso County, Texas. You will work in a sampling and tailoring workshop. The role involves inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
