We are recruiting: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Campbell County, South Dakota. You will be based at a landfill site. You should have: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently The role involves: • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
