Now hiring: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Hamilton County, Illinois. You will be based at a busy garment factory. The role involves stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. Requirements: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Rotating shifts.
