Lorry driver — Russell County

Join our team: we are hiring a lorry driver in Russell County, Alabama. The job is at a container freight yard. Your main tasks: • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits What we are looking for: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Valid digital tachograph card • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience.
