Sand plant operator wanted in Knott County

Join our team: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Knott County, Kentucky. You will work on the moulding line. The role involves maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Full-time with occasional weekends.
