Auto painter — Richmond County

Now hiring: we are hiring an auto painter in Richmond County, New York. You will be based in a spray booth. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners Day-to-day duties: • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
