Tailor machinist — Bali

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Bali, Taraba State. You will be based at a busy garment factory. Day-to-day duties: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes Requirements: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens 6+ years on the tools preferred.
