Deboner — Randolph County

Now hiring: we are hiring a deboner in Randolph County, Alabama. On a typical shift you will sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled. You should have: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers Performance bonus on top of base pay.
