Immediate opening: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Shawano County, Wisconsin. You will work at a busy garment factory. Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Day-to-day duties: • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet 2+ years on the tools preferred.
