Bricklayer — Cass County

Now hiring: we are hiring a bricklayer in Cass County, Indiana. The job is on a scaffolded high-rise site. The role involves: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel You should have: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
