Vacancy available: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Coffee County, Georgia. You will work in a busy laundry. Day-to-day duties: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics You should have: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
