Great opportunity: we are hiring a plastering hand in Rockbridge County, Virginia. You should have: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents On a typical shift you will patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; check walls for plumb and level as you go; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings.
