Vacancy available: scaffolding supervisor (Alabama)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a scaffolding supervisor in Talladega County, Alabama. You will be based at a shipyard. Your main tasks: • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use What we are looking for: • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • CISRS card or local equivalent at Part 1 / Part 2 level We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits.
