Container truck driver — Matanuska-Susitna Borough

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a container truck driver in Matanuska-Susitna Borough, Alaska. You will work in a refrigerated transport fleet. Day to day you will log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence 1+ years on the tools preferred.
