Tandoor cook — Sherman County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tandoor cook in Sherman County, Kansas. The job is in a catering banquet kitchen. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking Day to day you will check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; prepare the mise en place before each service; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
