Join our team: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Davidson County, North Carolina. You will work in a textile and apparel unit. Day to day you will match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
