Join our team: core maker (Ondo State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a core maker in Owo, Ondo State. Day to day you will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. You should have: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Overtime paid at a premium rate.
