Offshore rigger • Richmond County, Virginia

Immediate opening: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Richmond County, Virginia. The job is at a container port. On the job you will handle: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists You should have: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
