What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases On the job you will handle: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press Rotating shifts.
