Rigging foreman wanted in Washington County

Join our team: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Washington County, Pennsylvania. You will be based on a high-rise building site. On a typical shift you will direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. Ideal candidate: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles 1+ years on the tools preferred. $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
