Wheel loader operator • Boyd County, Kentucky

Immediate opening: we are hiring a wheel loader operator in Boyd County, Kentucky. You will work at a landfill site. On the job you will handle: • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment You should have: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
