Now hiring: we are hiring a sausage maker in Morgan County, Tennessee. Your main tasks: • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain You should have: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
