Requirements: • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles The role involves: • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
