Abattoir worker — Sevier County

Join our team: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Sevier County, Tennessee. You will work at a wholesale meat market. The role involves trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders. Requirements: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
