Groundworker — Custer County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundworker in Custer County, South Dakota. The job is on a residential housing site. Requirements: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker On a typical shift you will stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $32 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
