Core maker — Ibesikpo Asutan

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a core maker in Ibesikpo Asutan, Akwa Ibom State. On the job you will handle: • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal 1+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. ₦290,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
