Immediate opening: foundry labourer (Pennsylvania)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. On the job you will handle: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity Requirements: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
