Vacancy available: we are hiring a rigger in Iron County, Michigan. You will work at a power plant. Day-to-day duties: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position What we are looking for: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
