Vacuum press operator — Karu

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Karu, Nasarawa State. The job is at a textile finishing unit. On the job you will handle: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots You should have: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases 5+ years on the tools preferred.
