Plasterer • Mackinac County, Michigan

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plasterer in Mackinac County, Michigan. You will work in a refurbishment property. Your main tasks: • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Check walls for plumb and level as you go Requirements: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
