The role involves detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police; frisk people and run bag checks at the entry point; operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door; patrol the premises on foot at fixed intervals; monitor the CCTV screens in the control room; respond to intrusion alarms and panic alerts.
