Pipe tig welder wanted in New Kent County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in New Kent County, Virginia. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. On the job you will handle: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
