Foundry worker wanted in Vilas County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry worker in Vilas County, Wisconsin. You will be based on the moulding line. What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding The role involves skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. Pay around $180 per day, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
