Groundworker — Russell County

Now hiring: we are hiring a groundworker in Russell County, Virginia. The job is on a high-rise construction site. Your main tasks: • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate Requirements: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
