HGV driver — McHenry County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a HGV driver in McHenry County, Illinois. Day to day you will top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; report defects and book the unit in for servicing; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars. What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Confident with manual handling and load securing Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
