Excavator operator — Caledonia County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an excavator operator in Caledonia County, Vermont. Day-to-day duties: • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels Requirements: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
