Immediate opening: we are hiring a press machine operator in Boyle County, Kentucky. What we are looking for: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg On the job you will handle: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
