Crawler dozer operator — Barbour County

Now hiring: we are hiring a crawler dozer operator in Barbour County, West Virginia. The job is on a quarry floor. Your main tasks: • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction Requirements: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
