Now hiring: we are hiring a press setter operator in Numan, Adamawa State. You will work at a busy press shop. Ideal candidate: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Your main tasks: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts Six days a week, one day off.
