HSE officer — Putnam County

Join our team: we are hiring a HSE officer in Putnam County, New York. You will work on a high-rise building project. Ideal candidate: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements On a typical shift you will stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry.
