Lathe programmer-operator — Hampshire County

Join our team: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Hampshire County, West Virginia. The job is at a busy machine shop. Ideal candidate: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg On the job you will handle: • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
