Immediate opening: fusing press operator (Alabama)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Chilton County, Alabama. You will work in a tailoring workshop. On a typical shift you will meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching. You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
