Immediate opening: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Swift County, Minnesota. You will be based in a meat processing plant. On a typical shift you will take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; season and marinate meat on request; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • 2+ years experience working as a butcher 1+ years on the tools preferred.
