MIG/MAG welder — Minnehaha County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Minnehaha County, South Dakota. You should have: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Day to day you will tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose.
