Panel wireman — Caldwell County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a panel wireman in Caldwell County, Kentucky. You will work in a power distribution substation. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Able to read single-line and wiring diagrams • Sound knowledge of IS wiring and earthing standards Day-to-day duties: • Wire single-phase and three-phase distribution boards • Measure voltage, current and load with a multimeter and clamp meter • Carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars • Size and route cabling to suit the load current and voltage drop • Isolate circuits and apply lockout-tagout before working • Check earth continuity and earth pit resistance Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
