Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry operative in Ohio County, Indiana. Your main tasks: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
