Foundry labourer — Sequatchie County

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Sequatchie County, Tennessee. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. You should have: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Day to day you will make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale.
