Cnc lathe setter — Jasper County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Jasper County, Indiana. The job is in a precision engineering workshop. The role involves: • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear What we are looking for: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Overtime paid at a premium rate.
